Chimera7 officially opens the website!

It's been years in the making, but it's finally time to add some stock and officially open our website!

There is still so much to do, and honestly, in a business that aims to grow, there always will be 'so much to do', but if we wait until everything is finish, we'll never open...

Because everything is made in-house, we will keep making things every week and apply the stock to the website as it is ready. While we are initially only releasing 5 designs of starter kits now, there is already 9 kits ready/designed and we are aiming to get that up to about 15 variations between small, medium and large. Once we start releasing all the buildings that go with the car track, we will also start a 'Mega' sized kit which will include at least one building. Currently prototyped and  in design are,

  • Petrol station
  • Mechanic workshop
  • Airport (2x runways, helipad, bus stop, parking, hanger, control tower and a passengers terminal)
  • Train station (to go with the railway crossing and to suit your existing timber train set)
  • Boat ramp/trailer parking with a light house. (set this near your loungeroom rug and pretend the rug is a lake for example)
  • Monster truck arena (to make use of your little monster trucks, they can put on a show!)
  • Zoo frontage area (to make use of your toy animals)

And there many more planned. Basically if you have a vehicle, we aim to give it somewhere to belong.

 

These timber roads are part of our 'Suburbia' collection and there are a few more coming in the future, like our 'Race Day' sets where we will be building race tracks, start/finish lines, hairpin turns, pit lane, garages, ripple strips and so on. Then into our 'City Scape' set, where we will be adding some special features to the roads and some construction areas to allow you to build your new city.

Then there is also our 2D/3D puzzle which we are aiming to release asap, but at least before Christmas, these are currently a little slower to make, but once we get some additional tooling and machines, then we can pick up the pace in their production.

Also some educational activities for various ages and our WWII planes that are currently being prototyped, so, as you can see, there is a lot happening and we are looking forward to working our way through it all.
